RocketVM

Infrastructure without the sales pitch, and a site as direct as the service.

The brief

RocketVM sells custom VPS and bare-metal servers: no fixed plans, no three-column pricing grid. The client describes the workload, the team shops it across providers, negotiates, and comes back with a configuration that actually fits. A crystal-clear model inside an engineer’s head, far less clear on a web page.

The brief: turn the “zero bullshit” promise into a website. Explain a bespoke service with no price list, make regions and latency verifiable, and give a technical visitor something to chew on from the very first screen without drowning them.

Our approach

The identity starts from the launch metaphor, kept sober: dark canvas, ignition orange, monospace type for anything that looks like a command. The site reads like a tidy terminal, not a space brochure.

With no packages to display, the pricing grid gives way to two concrete things: an honest comparison against Linode, Vultr and OVH, and a table of the 12 datacenters with their published latency. Visitors answer their own questions before talking to anyone.

The path fits in four steps (brief, proposal, deployment, support), shown exactly as they are. The form asks only what a human needs in order to quote: load, storage, region, timeline. Nothing more, no account to create.

The result

Incoming requests arrive better prepared: people show up with a region in mind and a rough RAM figure. Support fields fewer basic questions and more real architecture ones.

When candour is the product, the website only gets to be candid too.
